An 85-year-old man was killed after colliding with a high school girl on a bicycle while walking on a sidewalk in Mitaka City, Tokyo. At around 5:00 p.m. on the 8th, Yuki Minegishi (85), who was walking on a sidewalk in Mitaka City, collided with a high school girl on a bicycle. Minegishi had suffered a severe head injury and was confirmed dead at the hospital where he was taken. The female high school student also sustained minor injuries. According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, the accident occurred on a gentle downhill slope and the high school girl was riding her bicycle on the left side of the sidewalk.
