Typhoon No. 10 is expected to continue to develop and become a “strong” typhoon tomorrow, Saturday, the 24th. It is expected to maintain its strength and move northward into next week. Looking at the predicted path, Typhoon No. 10 is expected to move north for a while before changing course to the west and moving northwest until it reaches around 30 degrees north latitude. It is then expected to change direction to the northeast and approach and possibly make landfall on Honshu and Shikoku. There are concerns that areas close to the typhoon’s path will be hit hard by strong winds and heavy rain. *For more details, please see the following source: 2024/08/23 04:55 Weather News. ?1724356498
What’s even more nasty is that it will be thrown along high pressure before and after making landfall on Honshu, so it will travel across the Kanto-Koshinetsu region towards the northeastern part of northern Japan.
It’s going to be another disappointing typhoon anyway. How many times do you guys have to be fooled by the Japan Meteorological Agency before you’re satisfied?
The forecast is changing slightly to a more eastern direction. After making landfall in the Kinki and Chubu regions, it is heading down a course across the archipelago.
