Ahead of the 101st anniversary of the Great Kanto Earthquake and the massacre of Koreans in September, Korean students in Japan and Japanese students held a demonstration and parade in Tokyo on the 27th to remember the history of the massacre and oppose discrimination. In response to Tokyo Governor Koike Yuriko’s stance of not sending a message of condolence to the memorial ceremony for the massacre victims, they called out, “Tokyo should not deny the massacre of Koreans.” About 100 people from all over the country participated in the demonstration parade, which was the second one held following last year. I walked from the east exit of Shinjuku Station to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. A fourth-generation Korean resident of Japan (20) from Aichi Prefecture, a third-year university student, commented on the issue of local government subsidies to Korean schools being suspended, “Discrimination against Koreans still occurs today. I want this to be rectified immediately.” A 23-year-old woman from Chiba Prefecture traveled to South Korea with her university seminar classmates to mark Liberation Day, the anniversary of South Korea’s liberation from Japanese colonial rule, and heard the thoughts of local activists there. She then decided to take part in a demonstration for the first time. “Tokyo Governor Koike should send a message of condolence to the victims of the massacre,” he said. A 24-year-old man majoring in modern Korean history at Hitotsubashi University Graduate School gave a speech in front of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. He said the massacre of Koreans was a national crime, and that “discrimination will not end unless public authorities clearly say ’no’ to discrimination. The national and metropolitan governments must stop distorting history and take responsibility for their colonial rule.”

Then bring all the abduction victims. No one is stupid enough to give their taxes to a dictatorship.

Ask the Northern General for a scholarship. They’ve been given permission to go home, so they’re going one after another, right?

If we give them subsidies, wouldn’t that be reverse discrimination?

First of all, shouldn’t we acknowledge the existence of “Japanese who were attacked and harmed” and apologize, offer compensation, and allow them to return home?

The reason they continue to ask for subsidies even though they don’t meet the conditions is because Koreans discriminate against Japanese people and consider them inferior.

It’s normal for Koreans to become violent during disasters, but they did the same when Japan lost the war, and even in the recent Itaewon stampede, they took wallets and watches from dead and injured people and committed obscene acts, so they can’t be trusted at all.

Regarding the issue of local government subsidies to Korean schools being suspended, he said, “Discrimination against Koreans still occurs today. I want this to be rectified immediately.” It’s not discrimination, it’s distinction. If it were the same Article 1 school and it wasn’t receiving subsidies, it would be discrimination, but it’s not an Article 1 school. What nonsense are you talking about?

Aren’t Korean schools just like American schools are for students to get into American universities?
They should just hurry up and go to a free university in their home country.

There’s no discrimination, but they can act like victims and do whatever they want, waving around the excuses of “Shabetsunida,” so it’s too comfortable.

What is the reason why they have not naturalized or returned home after four generations?
Are they thriving on privileges and vested interests?
Or have they committed a crime that prevents them from naturalizing or returning home?
Are they actually Chinese pretending to be Korean?
