Konishi made her acting debut in 1998 in the stage play “Netorare Sousuke”. In 2001, just three years after her debut, she played the role of the “love rival” of the main character Kuninaka Ryoko (45) in the NHK morning drama “Churasan”. From that year until 2007, she also appeared regularly on the popular variety show “Cocoriko Miracle Type” (Fuji TV), and was active as a comedienne.
