“Green juice prince” Yuta Misaki angrily refutes criticism that his rent is 90,000 yen too high: “I’m not bragging about how cheap it is, so what?”
Yuta Misaki (35), a businessman known as “Green juice prince,” who revealed that he suffered huge losses in stock investments, updated his x (formerly Twitter) account by the 12th. He talked about his current situation regarding his new apartment life, which has a rent of about 90,000 yen. Misaki confessed on his YouTube channel that he had moved from his home “Aojiru Hills,” where he had been living and whose rent was said to be 17 million yen, to a 1DK apartment he purchased with a 35-year mortgage. “The house we live in now is 33 square meters, about one-tenth the size of the one we had at Aojiru Hills. But this is too comfortable,” he wrote. He continued, “First of all, you don’t have to move when you want to get something, and you can complete anything you want with just a few steps. The room is efficient and doesn’t tire you out. I am painfully aware of how much of a waste it has been up until now. This is likely to increase productivity. It’s the best,” he continued. Nevertheless, many general accounts pointed out that 90,000 yen in rent was too high. In response to this criticism, he said, “It’s not like I’m bragging about having cheap rent, so it doesn’t really matter. I’m having fun in my current environment, so if you think that’s expensive, be jealous. My life now isn’t bad.”
“It’s fine, I don’t care how much rent I have to pay. Because that’s what makes me happy now. Some people say it’s expensive, but so what? I’m better than them, so I’ll do my best starting tomorrow. thank you. I’m not happy here,” he countered.

But he’s not bankrupt and he still has hundreds of millions of yen in savings, right?
This post seems so carefree I can’t believe it’s written by someone who’s really crazy.

I don’t understand the point of a 35-year mortgage on an apartment in Japan
But isn’t this just a completely wrong setup?

What stock did this guy lose with?
There were forced liquidations on a lot of stocks at the time, but it was worth watching for the first time in a while.

Well, the old Aojiru Hills was spacious, but I think it was stupid to pay 17 million yen in rent to live in such a stuffy place with such low ceilings.

I feel like 90,000 yen rent is fine if you’re single.
Maybe it’s because my food expenses are about 18,000 yen a month and I hardly drink alcohol, smoke, or gamble.
But I guess it depends on the person.

At times like these, people’s true nature comes out
The people who pay attention to them must have a lot of free time
Even though they’re being made fun of, they continue to be this person’s food
They should just leave them alone lol.

People aren’t leaving because they’ve run out of money,
but because they took a huge gamble of 2 billion yen on margin trading, they’re shocked and no one wants to come near them anymore.

So that’s a 35-year loan with monthly payments of 90,000 yen?
How much is the property worth? Around 30 million yen?
Can I get a 35-year loan if I’m unemployed?
I’m not sure.
