According to police, the incident came to light around 10 p.m. on the 4th when a high school girl noticed that her underwear and other items were missing after washing them. When police examined security camera footage from the hotel, they found that a man believed to be Ikeda, who was staying at the same hotel, was seen stealing clothing.
