On the 3rd, Microsoft reported that there is a bug in version 2409 of the word processing software “Word” that causes files to be deleted after saving. According to the report, the issue occurs when the file name contains a capital letter extension (.docx or .rtf) or a “#” in version 2409 and you save changes to the file following the prompt when closing Word. The company is currently investigating the details of the problem and has introduced the following three workarounds: ・Search the trash and restore deleted files
・Manually save changes and then close Word (don’t use the prompt to save when closing Word)
・Enable “Don’t show the backstage when opening or saving files with keyboard shortcuts” in “File” -> “Options” -> “Save”

More importantly, stop processing the csv file when you open it in excel. There have been a ton of cases where people who don’t know this have messed with the data in excel and caused a lot of trouble.
