Various comments have been made about the video in which the three senior announcers in the studio “make fun” of Uegaki’s dignified appearance at the broadcast site, with comments such as “It’s not funny at all” and “It’s like bullying.” The clipped video goes viral. This is the episode when Uegaki debuted as a weathercaster on “Mezamashi Doyoubi” in July. A clip from a video uploaded by the program’s official YouTube channel suddenly became a hot topic on x later this month. Critical opinions are prominent on x, with a post such as “The teasing from senior announcers towards Kamigaki isn’t funny at all” receiving over 100,000 likes. The scene that is currently causing a stir is a minute-long clip of a conversation from the commercial. When the host, Uegaki, changed from his tie into a pop light blue promotional T-shirt during the broadcast, a female announcer in the studio exclaimed, “Oh, he’s changing clothes. Sly. Wow, it doesn’t suit you,” he continued. “You can wear it, hahaha.” Kamigaki replied with a laugh, “Personally I think it suits you really well.” Another female announcer said, “Good, keep it up. It’s very important,” to which Uegaki replied, “You also have to wear this when reading sponsored material. I’ll become a suitable man!” he replied. The female announcer continued, “You would look good in a jinbei,” to which Kamigaki replied, “That’s true, there was a time when I thought about wearing a samue or something like that.” Another male announcer continued, “She’s 23 years old,” to which the female announcer laughed and said, “Maybe you’re not.” Afterwards, the senior announcers were all surprised when they found out that he was born in 2001, and got excited joking around, saying things like, “I can’t believe it,” and “He’s definitely a liar.” The scene where the senior announcers praised Uegaki after the program ended was cut from the video being spread on x, but the video continues, and there is a scene where the three senior announcers praise Uegaki after the broadcast ended. “He was so calm,” “He’s a veteran. They all praised her, saying, “Her voice is so refined,” and “I felt it was really easy to listen to.” Finally, Kamigaki was called back into the studio and commented, “It’s about time for the cicadas to start chirping, so I hope I can convey that feeling to you,” to which he replied, “Keep it fresh, please!”, creating a harmonious atmosphere in the studio. The official YouTube channel posted a video with the title “The dialogue during the commercial is too funny,” including this scene. However, there were a variety of opinions at x regarding this scene. There were many voices expressing their displeasure, with comments such as, “(The senior announcer’s) sarcastic way of saying it was really too sharp,” “The way he said it was really unpleasant,” “If it was just some funny teasing for TV it might be okay, but it wasn’t funny,” “Uegaki announcer is the most mature mentally,” and “What’s with the official reaction of thinking this is funny and broadcasting it as is?” On the other hand, there were also comments such as, “I don’t think Uegaki is happy about this kind of spread,” “It’s just normal communication between seniors and juniors,” and “This kind of teasing is normal.”
>>2 Nishiyama definitely doesn’t suit it Kayako’s work uniform… Ikuta is definitely a liar Everyone talks as if he’s old and uncool even though he’s only 23 The newbie was smiling wryly, but it felt like they were making fun of Karube, which was harsh.
Can someone who doesn’t know the relationship tell if someone is bullying or teasing just by looking at them? x must be a group of geniuses with communication skills.
>>7 So true. It’s up to outsiders to “feel” that way and express their “opinion” that way, but I don’t like the trend of forcing their opinions on other people.
Many people expressed their displeasure, saying things like, “(The senior announcer’s) sarcastic way of saying it was really too sharp,” “The way he said it was really unpleasant,” “If it was just some funny teasing for TV it might be okay, but it wasn’t funny,” “Uegaki announcer is the most mature mentally,” and “What’s with the official reaction of thinking this is funny and broadcasting it as is?” Once again, introverts are trying to vent their resentment on others and cause a stir.
There are way too many middle-aged women who get mad over something they just cut out. Have you never worked in a company before and thought this was sarcastic?
I guess it’s the first time the people criticizing him have seen Kamigaki. So this self-proclaimed current affairs commentator has found some new fodder.
Nishiyama Kikue must have realized that things were getting out of hand, because she tried to wrap things up, but Abe Kayako and Ikuta were really being nasty. And Nishiyama is the one at fault for saying whatever she wanted, thinking that no one was listening.
It doesn’t suit me I can wear it, haha 23 years old? That’s a total lie If a male boss said this to a new female employee and no one made a fuss about it, then it’s ok.
