At around 7:40 a.m. on the 10th, the JR Setouchi Ohashi Line rapid train “Marine Liner No. 10” (7-car train) bound for Okayama from Takamatsu stopped on the Setouchi Ohashi Bridge, and is still stranded approximately three hours later. According to JR Shikoku, there were about 150 passengers on board, but there are no reports of injuries. There is no indication of when operations will resume. JR Shikoku explained that the cause was a broken overhead wire between Kojima and Utazu, causing service cancellations and delays on the line.
