Regarding the recent House of Representatives election, it has been revealed that Xue Jian, the Chinese Consul General in Osaka, called for people to vote for Reiwa Shinsengumi on x (formerly Twitter). On the 22nd, the government decided at a cabinet meeting to issue a response stating that the post was “highly inappropriate.” The government requested the Chinese side through diplomatic channels to delete the posts. The post has been deleted. According to a question submitted by Matsubara Jin, a former Minister in charge of Abduction Issues (independent), Xue Jian posted on x on October 25th, “Please write ‘Reiwa’ on your proportional representation ballot from anywhere in the country.” It also reportedly quoted a video of a street speech by Reiwa Party leader Taro Yamamoto. Well, I think it’s fine to be frank. We need to listen to the opinions of our neighboring countries. The Constitutional Democratic Party and the Communist Party need to reflect on themselves.
I think the LDP was founded with funds from the CIA or the US. The Communist Party is also the Japanese branch of Comintern. China probably sees value in Reiwa. In terms of its position, it’s kind of like the Socialist Party of old. The Soviet Union and the Chinese Communist Party were on bad terms with the Communist Party.
