8/22 (Thu) 23:40 Jiji Press [Jiji Press, Seoul] According to South Korean media, a fire broke out at a hotel in Bucheon City near Seoul at around 7:40 pm on the 22nd (Japan time), killing seven people and injuring 11 others. The dead include foreigners. The fire broke out on the eighth floor of the nine-story hotel. Shortly afterwards, the fire department received a report of smoke coming from a guest room. The fire department dispatched about 70 vehicles and 160 firefighters to engage in firefighting and rescue operations. An estimated 27 guests were staying at the hotel.
Hmm. So? Just because this fire happened doesn’t mean the tax burden on Japanese people will be lightened, so it doesn’t really matter. >>10 I’m a fire blight. I can’t help but see fire. Candlelight vigils, Molotov cocktails, firestorms, etc.
A hotel burned spectacularly a while ago And now seven people have died Are there any developed countries like this? I don’t think there are, it’s too scary I can only think that people who travel to countries like this are idiots.
The hotel is mainly used by foreign tourists for medical purposes. Eighteen Kazakh tourists for medical purposes had also been planning to stay there, but they were late in arriving and escaped unscathed.
The fire broke out on the 8th floor of a 9-story building, and there were only 27 guests there, but 18 people were killed or injured, 7 of whom died – the damage is huge. It wasn’t even during sleeping hours, so there must have been some kind of problem. Or maybe the escape route was blocked during dinner at the restaurant on the top floor?
>>33 Apparently, two customers who jumped from the 8th floor onto the mat died. The fire started in an empty room, and the black smoke spread quickly. The owner is probably on the verge of being hanged, so he may be fleeing overseas.
Apparently the governor of Gyeonggi Province has already visited the site. As a Japanese person, I envy Korea for its consideration towards its citizens.
>>37 Why is the governor inspecting the area even though there is no natural disaster? Well, the hotel’s fire prevention and evacuation plans were probably flawed, and the administrative supervision and guidance was full of holes, so maybe the governor is aware that it’s an issue of responsibility lol.
>>40>>44 You’re right, you don’t see any kanji in Seoul. The name “Seoul City” was decided by the US Military Government on August 15, 1946. The name “Keijo” was decided upon by Superintendent-General Ito Hirobumi in 1910. “Hanseong” from 1395 to 1910, and before that Yi Seong-gye moved the capital from Kaesong to “Hanyang” from 1392 to 1395.
