Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on the 19th that a cross-border attack by Ukrainian forces into the Kursk region in western Russia showed that Russia’s warnings of retaliation were a bluff, and called on Western countries, fearful of Russia’s “red line,” to ease restrictions on the use of weapons supplied to Ukraine. Zelenskyy claimed that Ukrainian forces had taken control of an area of about 1,250 square kilometres and a total of 92 settlements in the oblast. The Russian Investigative Committee also confirmed that Ukrainian forces had destroyed a third bridge over the Seim River in the region. “We are witnessing an important conceptual shift,” Zelenskiy told diplomats, arguing that what some partners considered Russia’s “red lines” were “crumbling” beneath their feet. Ukraine said restrictions on the use of Western-supplied weapons have prevented it from attacking Russian military facilities as it would like, and called on its allies to make “braver” decisions about how to support Ukraine. Within Ukraine, Russian troops are advancing into Pokrovsk in the east, and fighting with Ukrainian forces is intensifying. Zelensky has expressed his intention to seek to create a “buffer zone” in the Kursk Oblast. The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said more than 121,000 people had been evacuated from nine border regions of the region. >>1 Ukraine is now the Korea of Europe. The people who used to flatter Korea are now flattering Ukraine. In fact, Japan is being exploited by both Korea and Ukraine, but there is no benefit to Japan.
>>5 Did you know that the Western vehicles provided by the West were worn out in the Kursk battle? Motorcycles are more effective against drones. The targets are small, fast, maneuverable, and difficult to hit, and if you take your eyes off them for a moment they’ll disappear into the shadows.
Ukraine drawn into Russia’s trap 50 Name:Anonymous Private Guard [lv.28](ワッチョイ 2336-zxzs [2400:4151:61:31f0:*]) [sage] :2024/08/21(Wed) 07:26:11.45 id:jbtemy9c0 Is the Ukrainian army’s invasion of Kursk a Russian trap? news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/7239c5d97851bbe00dd29868bf02ae6cf8c85b98 Are they crazy? lol.
>>10 The title and the text are quite different. Newsweek The Russian government’s state-run media is trying to explain why Ukraine was able to launch a successful cross-border attack into Russia so easily. For example, the state-run RIA Novosti news agency said:
But this kind of misrepresentation is at odds with the evidence and testimony from Russian military bloggers and others that shows the Ukrainian side has the upper hand.
Of course, both sides want to make themselves look good, but so far there is no evidence that the Krajina army has fallen into a trap. On the other hand, the big question is surely what Ukraine will do next and whether Putin will be able to counter it.
If Russia were to launch a nuke here, Israel’s atrocities would be brought to Russia’s attention. And how would the US, with the presidential election coming up, react?
It would be hilarious if Russia used limited nuclear weapons. I don’t think there are any concentrated military facilities in Ukraine that would be targets for that.
Even though they’re losing, they expand the front line and end up with both sides being crushed. I guess that’s something they can do with other countries’ money lol.
>>20 How many years has it been since this crazy anti-Ukrainian guy started writing these kinds of responses? lol When will the big power Russia be able to beat the small power Ukraine? lol.
Even if it’s a tactical nuke, it’s several times more powerful than Hiroshima. Where does this fall? Personally, I think it’s a shame that the pacifists who chanted prayers for Hiroshima and Nagasaki will lose the privilege of being the only people to have experienced the atomic bomb.
>>37 Are you dreaming of establishing a Jewish state? Are you satisfied with killing Ukrainians and taking their land? Jews are the ones who are always massacring and plundering.
They need to emphasize the results. Zelensky’s approval rating in Ukraine is apparently dropping. I think the invasion is the only result that could be considered a success.
It seems like the West is going to expose the Bucha massacre as a Ukrainian plot and the destruction of the Nord Stream as a Ukrainian act, and abandon it. It seems like it’s going to be revealed that the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam was also the work of Ukraine.
>>46 The West already knows Before the Ukraine war, Biden officially announced that Nord Stream would not be used The main culprits in this war to seize oil interests and land are the patrons of Western politicians.
