What? A fireworks display unique to a rural theme park? Maybe it wasn’t managed properly because it wasn’t a city-run fireworks display? Are those displays run by fireworks makers? Or are they launched by licensed civilian staff?
We had some fireworks set off by the local community association and they exploded when they were about 10 meters away, and the spectators said “That’s so stupid!” which made me laugh.
I feel like fireworks makers have gotten worse recently, but maybe it’s just that they’ve been around for a long time and never made the news. I’ve heard a lot of stories about people screwing up and losing an arm.

When I was a kid, there was a fireworks festival on the banks of the Kakogawa River and they would explode on the ground. The fireworks would spread out in a hemisphere.
I’d like to ask someone who really knows about this, if small and medium sized sash manufacturing factories go out of business because of the fireworks, will small and medium sized toilet manufacturing factories in the region lose work? Will they go out of business?
Come to the fireworks festival in Koga City, Ibaraki Prefecture. They’ll have two three-foot fireworks. The sound was amazing this year too. You can get there directly from Ueno on the Utsunomiya line.
