On the 13th, the Hyogo Prefectural Police Cyber Investigation Division and Nada Police Station re-arrested a 14-year-old third-year junior high school student living in Wakaba Ward, Chiba City, on suspicion of violating the Unauthorized Access Prohibition Act and computer fraud. The re-arrest is on suspicion of illegally accessing a local bank’s server in late September and having 500,000 yen transferred from the account of a woman in her 30s in Shizuoka Prefecture to an account in the name of a third party managed by the teenager. When questioned, he reportedly admitted to the charges, saying, “There’s no doubt that I did it.” According to the Cyber Investigation Division, the boy offered to give the woman tickets to a live concert by the popular group SnowMan online, and then led her to a fake website where he obtained her account information and other details. He also reportedly said, “I wanted to brag to my online friends that I had a lot of money.” Regarding his cyber-related knowledge, he reportedly said, “A friend I met on a social networking site was selling fictitious game accounts, so he taught me (how to commit fraud),” and the Hyogo Prefectural Police are currently working to verify this. The boy was arrested by the prefectural police on October 23rd on suspicion of violating the Act on Prohibition of Unauthorized Computer Access and attempted computer fraud. Investigations so far have revealed that the boy uses at least eight smartphones. During a search at the end of September, 2.76 million yen was seized from the boy’s room.

Reselling cannot be eradicated because there are people who will buy it for 500,000 yen.
Scalpers are bad, but so are the people who buy from them.
I can’t sympathize at all with those who have lost 500,000 yen.
In fact, it’s what they deserve.

If the tickets are going to be traded for 500,000 yen behind the scenes anyway, then sell them for 500,000 yen from the start.

Whether it’s Johnny’s or K-pop, I’ve come to realise that idols are more profitable. It’s hard to produce a serious and successful singer, but it’s much easier with idols.
45Anonymous @I’m sorry.Nov. 14, 2024 (Thu) 11:19:15.68ID:nunTaDQi0
Johnny’s probably has more sales than top artists, so neither Mr.Children nor B’z can beat Johnny’s.
