On the 20th, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s Third Investigation Division announced that it had arrested Yasushi Konno (61), an unemployed man with no fixed address, on suspicion of shoplifting at an electronics retail store. The Metropolitan Police Department believes that Konno may have repeatedly shoplifted home appliances worth a total of approximately 400 million yen over the past 20 years, including cases where the statute of limitations for theft had expired (seven years). The suspect was arrested on suspicion of stealing 15 items, including rechargeable radios and fire alarms (with a total retail price of approximately 217,000 yen), from an electronics store in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture, at around 11:50 a.m. on July 3rd. “I can’t say anything right now,” he said. According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Konno is believed to have repeatedly shoplifted from electronics retail stores in Tokyo, Saitama and Chiba prefectures, targeting the hours immediately after opening when there are few customers. The stolen home appliances were allegedly sold at the same secondhand goods store in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture. According to the store’s records, Konno visited the store approximately 80 times between January and June of this year, and sold around 800 items, including home appliances such as wireless mice and electric razors, for a total of approximately 3 million yen. He must have a lot of business acumen lol
I think he’s incredibly talented to have made that much money without getting caught for 20 years.

The word “netouyo” means “patriot.” In other words, the people who make fun of and criticize netouyo are anti-Japanese agents from China and Korea. Their goal is to make people think that being patriotic is uncool and to weaken Japan’s national power. I hope Japanese people are careful not to be misled by the posts of anti-Japanese agents.

With that many, it would be suspicious even if they spread out the places they were sold to
I wonder if they were selling to places that knew about it or suspected it.
