A 36-year-old tattoo artist living in Sapporo’s Chuo Ward was arrested on suspicion of violating the Hokkaido Youth Healthy Development Ordinance for tattooing a female junior high school student with a floral pattern. The man is suspected of tattooing the arm of a junior high school girl (14 at the time) at a store he runs in Chuo Ward, Sapporo on July 10, knowing that she was under 18 years of age. According to the police, the junior high school girl had a floral tattoo on her arm, and the police became aware of the tattoo after receiving a request from a related agency after the tattoo had been applied. The man’s suspicions emerged after questioning of those involved, and he was arrested on November 21, more than four months after the treatment. During questioning, the man partially denied the charges, saying, “I performed the treatment, but I didn’t know that she was under 18.” For more information, see Hokkaido News UHB 2024/11/21.
I think getting inked would be quite expensive I wonder what happened? I got a really cheap price for the rising dragon on my shoulder (without it), it was only a few hundred thousand yen.
It wasn’t a tattoo artist who forced her to have it done, it was the middle school girl who asked for it, right? Nowadays, even hair salons dye the hair of elementary and middle school students, right?
“Some people run away because of the pain” Tattoo removal is on the rise in Korea Social changes are behind it It is estimated that a quarter of the population has tattoos.
You say they’re middle school students, but even gangsters and prostitutes were once middle school students, so just because they’re children doesn’t mean they’re innocent.
This reminded me of the incident in England where a high school girl got a star tattoo on her face, but after being scolded by her parents, she made up a story that a male tattoo artist forced her to get it.
