In 2007, a second-grade elementary school girl was murdered on the street in Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture, and the case, which had remained unsolved for 17 years, has made a big move. Police arrested a 45-year-old man who lived in Kakogawa City, where the incident occurred, today. The suspect arrested on suspicion of murder is Katsuhiko Katsuta (45). According to police, Katsuta is suspected of stabbing second-grade elementary school student Use Yuzuki (age 7 at the time) in the chest and other parts of his body, killing her, in Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture, in 2007. Katsuta was serving a life sentence for murdering a third-grade girl in Okayama Prefecture in 2004. During voluntary questioning by police, he admitted to his involvement in the Kakogawa incident, saying things like, “I was looking for a small girl who wouldn’t resist,” and “I found a girl I liked, followed her and stabbed her.” Katsuta was arrested this month on suspicion of attempted murder of a fourth-grade girl in Tatsuno city, also in western Hyogo Prefecture, in 2006. If the penalties for previous offenses had been tougher, Yuzuki-chan wouldn’t have been killed. The justice system is too lenient on crime. Murder for pleasure doesn’t lead to rehabilitation.

This is so true. Unless we eliminate these human rights guards, who are nothing more than self-satisfied masturbators, and implement severe penalties, this tragedy will continue to be repeated.

2004: Murder of a 3rd grade girl → life sentence
2006: Attempted murder of a 4th grade girl → Arrested (2024/11)
2007: Murder of a 2nd grade girl → Arrested (2024/11)
Death sentence, right?

The previous sentence will be discounted based on the sentence he’s currently serving, so he’ll likely avoid a death sentence.

Are Chinese people in Japan because they like to attack weak elementary school students?

I think that people with a criminal record who target children should be implanted with GPS devices, but I’m sure self-proclaimed human rights activists would be wholeheartedly opposed to it.

Are they going to arrest him again based on just a confession?

It’s scary to think that he still has a lot of other crimes to commit.

It seems clear that the best and most effective way to prevent more victims from occurring is to quickly behead these freaks on their first offense and banish them from this world.

So the first incident was in 2004, and then there were incidents in 2006 and 2007. The arrest was too late.

When I googled it, I found that in 2000, he hit a girl (11 years old) in Akashi City → arrested for assault, in 2009, he hit a girl (6 years old) in Himeji City → arrested for assault, and in 2015, he stabbed a girl (14 years old) in the stomach in Himeji City → arrested for attempted murder.

I don’t really get the timeline. He was serving a life sentence, but then he escaped, stabbed someone and got arrested?

He was arrested for a murder in 2004 and sentenced to life imprisonment, but subsequent investigations and testimony revealed that he was also responsible for the attempted murder in 2006 and the murder in 2007.

It’s probably when his father retires from the police force or gets his full retirement pay from his new job. He’s kept quiet up until now because he’s doing his best to be a good son to his parents. Ultimately, though, he’s probably doing his best to be a good son lol.

It’s amazing that this case is finally no longer unsolved.
