On the 3rd, Takashi Tachibana, leader of the Party to Protect the People from NHK, posted a new X. It was announced that criminal charges would be filed against lawyer Nobuo Gohara. On the 2nd, Gohara, together with Professor Kamiwaki Hiroyuki of Kobe Gakuin University, filed criminal charges against Governor Saito Motohiko and the female president of a PR company on suspicion of violating the Public Offices Election Act (bribery and being bribed) in connection with the Hyogo Prefectural gubernatorial election. Tachibana wrote, “I believe this is a completely false accusation by lawyer Gohara!” He continued, “Therefore, today I am mailing a criminal complaint to the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office and Azabu Police Station, naming lawyer Gohara as the accused and lawyers Tachibana Takashi and Ishimaru Yukito as the accusers!”
