He went to a vocational training center, got a temp job, lived in an apartment, got married, and then the next time they met he couldn’t even converse with her. That seems like an illness.

Maybe she got praised by relatives who don’t usually praise her, and she probably got a lot of money from her parents’ home. I guess this will lead to older men who are divorced and have children being labeled as the worst kind of potential criminals! What a terrible world we live in.
There should be a law that allows the police to have someone who is causing a nuisance in the neighborhood take them to a doctor so they can give them an injection to calm them down.
For Hirahara, it was probably revenge against his wife and child who abandoned him. His wife will be tormented by the idea that he committed the crime because she divorced him, and his daughter will be tormented by the idea that her daughter was killed in her place, as her child the same age as her was killed.
