According to the prefectural police, the teacher visited a supermarket in Fukuoka City around 7:30 p.m. on the 29th. He is suspected of “fraud” by sticking half-price labels on six packs of fish fillets and then defrauding customers of the difference in price of 1,243 yen. After purchasing half-price items, teachers can pay at the self-checkout. He re-entered the store and stuck a half-price sticker for the item he had purchased onto a piece of fish. A store security guard, suspicious of the teacher, stopped him and made a private arrest.
