“sorry. I don’t know why. This is my first time. I will never do it again. Please forgive me.” Ami’s eyes were about to burst with tears as she pleaded, stringing her words together awkwardly. “I have said this, so could you please be considerate? “He’s a very hardworking student.”
“It must be hard to study abroad. Take care of yourself and do your best.”

In foreign countries, they will throw you in without question.
If you’re not careful, you might be treated as a spy or terrorist and never come out.
Like China or South America.

In other words, they’re making a bold statement that if a foreigner is a foreigner, they can get away with anything they want with the Asahi Shimbun Company or its associates and relatives.

If an Asahi Shimbun employee could say the same thing if he were robbed, then I’ll accept it.

Only the person in question knows if it was a spur of the moment thing he did, and he may have been sticking out his tongue in a heart that knew he was being forgiven.

The Asahi Shimbun is treating Vietnamese people as newspapers and lowering the wages and working conditions of Japanese people.

If it was just a random accident, we could sympathize, but theft doesn’t happen by chance, and no matter how underdeveloped a country is, there’s no one who doesn’t know that stealing is a crime.

It’s a rambling post, but to sum it up it’s exactly like the thread title, lol. The fact that he even quotes stories from ancient Japan is bad.

There are criminal foreigners who take advantage of the lenient Japanese system, which is based on the assumption that people are good. The sentences are light, they are not always caught, prisons are comfortable, foreigners are mysteriously not charged, they are defended by left-wing activist lawyers, and at worst they are deported. Japan is a paradise for foreign criminals, as the profits they can make from crime are greater.

The reason why foreigners are not charged with crimes is probably because they can’t communicate in the language and records can’t be taken, so it’s too much trouble.
