On the 14th, a fire broke out at a house in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture, and Yoshiko Hamabe (84), who lived in the house, was found in a state of cardiac arrest and was confirmed dead at the hospital where she was taken. According to police, Hamabe asked for help from people nearby and then went back into the burning house to save his dog. Also in Sakai City, a two-story wooden house burned down, killing one woman. It is believed that a woman in her 60s lived alone in the house; police believe that she has died and are currently working to confirm her identity. (From “Good! They’re a real family, unlike those people from the Great East Japan Earthquake who called themselves family but left them behind if they couldn’t take them to the evacuation shelter.
If they call themselves family, they should just stay together.
If their children can’t get into the evacuation shelter, would they leave them at home and go to the shelter by themselves?
They’re not a family or anything.

Trying to save his dog…it’s a perfectly natural thing for a pet owner to do. If he could save the dog, he would be happy to die.
