The seller of swords that were on sale at a hands-on Harry Potter facility that opened in Tokyo last year has announced that it will recall them. According to investigators, the weapon is suspected to be in violation of the Sword and Firearms Control Law because it has sharp edges. The item being recalled is Godric Gryffindor’s Sword, a merchandise sold at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo in Nerima Ward, Tokyo, where visitors can experience the world of the Harry Potter films. According to the seller, the sword is approximately 86cm long, made of stainless steel, and was sold for 30,000 yen between May last year and April this year. After the sale ended, the police contacted them and told them that the items were “classified as swords, the possession of which is prohibited by law.” According to investigators, the blade of this sword item is sharp, and there is a possibility that continuing to possess it could be in violation of the Sword and Firearms Control Law. Sales at the facility have already ended, but 351 bottles have been sold so far, and they are still being traded on flea market apps and other platforms. The distributor, Warner Bros. Studios Japan, has posted on its website an appeal for people to contact them, commenting, “We apologize for any concern and inconvenience caused.”

I think Japanese swords are considered works of art and require registration rather than permission.

Not having a home to live in is homeless. No nightly activities are sexless. No need for cash is cashless. So does stainless steel mean no stainless steel? What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel means iron that doesn’t rust.
