Elementary school students think, “Who would you like to be the face of a banknote?” Otani Shohei is second, the top is a surprise… Internet comment: “Funny lol” This month, Benesse Corporation’s correspondence course “Shinkenzemi Elementary School Course,” which supports the learning and life of elementary school students, conducted a survey of elementary school students’ thoughts on events in 2024 and the future. They announced rankings of “Who would you like to become Prime Minister?”, “Who would you like to be the face of the banknote?”, “People you admire” and “Occupations you would like to have.” This is the fifth year for the survey. The survey was conducted among 16,042 members of the “Shinken Zemi Elementary School Course” from grades 1 to 6. Dodgers pitcher Shohei Ohtani came in 8th for “Prime Minister,” 2nd for “Face on Banknote,” and 4th for “Person I Admire,” making it into the top 10 in all rankings.
