On October 4, 2024, the Japan Automobile Importers Association released the “Number of New Imported Vehicle Registrations for September 2024 (Preliminary Report).” As the third quarter of 2024 comes to an end, let’s take a look at the number of new car registrations by Hyundai Motor, which has entered the Japanese market. Below is the following. September 2024 Hyundai: 58 units (161.1%) ⇒Share 0.18% BYD: 271 units (143.4%) ⇒Share 0.82% 2024 January-September Cumulative Hyundai: 492 units (164.0%) ⇒Share 0.21% BYD: 1,862 units (199.6%) ⇒Share 0.79% *Figures in parentheses are compared to the same period last year ⇒Reference/Source: Japan Automobile Importers Association, “Number of New Imported Vehicle Registrations in September 2024 (Flash Report)” In September, there were only 58 units, and the cumulative total for January-September was 271 units. As expected, Hyundai’s electric cars are not selling at all. China’s Byd sold 271 units in September alone. It sells about 4.7 times more than Hyundai. The cumulative total from January to September was 1,862 units, which is about 3.8 times that of Hyundai. People in South Korea seem to be bitter about the fact that electric cars made by Chinese manufacturers are selling better than electric cars made by the South Korean automaker Hyundai, but I guess there’s no point in getting angry as this is something that the market decides. >>1 Japanese young people love Korea thanks to the Unification Church’s brainwashing using Abe, but they can’t buy it because they don’t have the money even if they want to. Don’t the Hyundai executives know that? Lol.
>>11 Investors are excited after TSMC reports better-than-expected third-quarter results. Quarterly profit rose 54%, beating analyst expectations. TSMC’s customers include Apple and Nvidia, and it is benefiting from growing demand for AI. The company is currently Asia’s most valuable company, valued at about $874 billion. Rival Samsung had a disappointing day. According to sources, Samsung has delayed delivery of semiconductor manufacturing equipment from Dutch company ASML. The equipment was scheduled to be delivered to Samsung’s new factory in Texas. However, the company has not yet secured a customer for the project. TSMC has a monopoly on this market and the gap with Samsung could widen.
>>13 Google has cut Samsung, so there are no Samsung parts in this year’s products I switched to a Google phone because I felt safe What about a smartwatch? If anyone is using the Google Watch 3, tell me how it feels.
Hyundai is the world’s third largest even without the Japanese market, while Toyota snatches first place by doping in the Galapagos market. Everyone except idiots knows which one the world will accept.
There’s no way they’d just put something like that on sale and have it sell. Japan has an overwhelming manufacturer called Toyota, so if they want to sell it in Japan, they have no choice but to get Toyota to sell it. Toyota has to say they’ll take responsibility and provide maintenance.
If it’s more appealing than a Japanese car, it will sell, and the same goes for webtoons. A crappy version of the Japanese version definitely won’t do.
