“I will never forgive this,” said a seller who was scammed on Mercari in an angry accusation, stating, “I will not just keep quiet about this” in response to the company’s dishonest response.
“I will never forgive this,” a seller who was scammed on Mercari makes an angry accusation, and the management’s dishonest response: “I will not continue to give up in silence.” 2024.11.15 Shueisha Online Mercari fraud victim makes an angry accusation “Why are you taking the side of the perpetrator?” Dishonest response The troubles on the flea market app “Mercari” are currently attracting a lot of attention. On November 11th, a post with a photo on x (formerly Twitter) spread like wildfire, causing a temporary uproar on timelines. I was the victim of theft on Mercari. I shipped a new, unopened plastic model, but the buyer contacted me to say they wanted to cancel the order because a part was damaged, and with instructions from Mercari, I agreed to the return. When I opened the item that arrived cash on delivery, most of the contents had been removed and there was garbage inside. Please give me some advice on what to do. > As of November 15th, this post has been reposted over 30,000 times, but at the same time, Mercari’s “incompetence” has also become a hot topic. When the seller contacted the Mercari office about the theft, they told him, “We asked you to check that there were no errors in the item you sent to the buyer. Please wait for a while for the buyer’s response,” was the response that seemed to side with the perpetrator. It continues, “If the purchaser denies that there was a mistake in the entry, or if we do not receive a response within 72 hours, it will be difficult to continue providing support, so the transaction will be canceled.” Why should the victim have to wait for the perpetrator’s convenience? As expected, the buyer replied that there was no mistake, and the transaction was canceled by the administrative office within three days. The seller will be left with only trash. Not only did the buyer remove the contents, but they also canceled the order and received a refund. *Click the link for the full text.
I was a victim of this in the past too, so is there anything I can do? I bought a bento box set featuring Gavan, Sharivan and Shaider, but this is what arrived and I had to give in. h
They only get scammed because they have a beggar mentality and try to sell things for as much as possible using Mercari. If you buy from a shop that is properly licensed as a secondhand dealer, there won’t be any trouble.
After seeing this, I’ve lost interest in selling on Mercari. I wonder if DVDs and other things can be stolen even if there’s nothing inside. I’d like to know what to do.
I saw this news and apparently even when they consulted Mercari’s management, they were told “The other party says they returned it properly, so that’s all!” and shut the matter down.
>>33 If troubles keep occurring with the same account, it would be that person’s fault But these kinds of people are likely just throwing away accounts and switching between them.
I’m sure the bad guys who are the dark masterminds and Mercari can think of something. They think that the soft format of this soft company can be used to the fullest for their evil deeds.
>>48 When I put something up for sale, I write that Since most of the items are used golf clubs, if you are worried about scratches or anything like that, then don’t bid.
