“Jujutsu Kaisen” will be concluded in 5 more episodes. Akutami Gege “We are working hard to create a final episode that will probably satisfy as many people as possible.”
On the 19th, Shueisha announced that the manga “Jujutsu Kaisen” (author: Akutami Gege) will be concluded in the 44th issue of the serialized magazine “Weekly Shonen Jump”, which will be released on September 30th. The final episode will be in five episodes, bringing the series to a close after six and a half years since its serialization began in March 2018. Akutami commented, “We are currently working hard to create a final episode that will (probably) be satisfying to many people.” Regarding the completion of the story, Akutami’s comments were made during the stage event at Jump Festa 2024 held at the end of 2023, where he said, “This will probably definitely be the last Jump Festa while Jujutsu Kaisen is still being serialized,” hinting that the story will be completed in 2024. The story will conclude in five more episodes, and Akutami once again stated, “The story will end in five more episodes. It is only thanks to the support and cooperation of my readers that I am able to conclude the story in the way that I wanted. Thank you!! We are working hard to create a final episode that will (probably) satisfy as many people as possible who have supported “Jujutsu Kaisen”. So everyone please forgive me!” he said.
I was excited when Okkotsu was fighting in Death Migration, but it started to feel boring very quickly. I’m sad that I’ve strangely lost interest. I do think that unexpectedness and absurd realism are important, but even so, I’m getting bored when main characters die too quickly.
My Hero Academia has ended, and series endings are continuing. Oda-sensei says One Piece will end in 4 years, so Hunter x Hunter and One Piece will be the only series still being serialized in 10 years.
Eh, it’s over already? Demon Slayer and part 1 of Chainsaw Man were just right without any unnecessary dragging on, but I can’t help but feel like Jujutsu Kaisen will end up being too rushed if it goes beyond this point with five episodes…
How are they going to end it in 5 episodes after this week’s ending lol? It took more than 5 episodes for My Hero Academia to go from defeating the last boss to the final episode.
It’s been 6 and a half years of plagiarism after plagiarism, but in the end it didn’t end up being any more interesting than Hunter x Hunter. It seems to have been popular with foreigners and fujoshis, but talent is cruel.
Which of Jump’s current titles is the most interesting? I don’t have much time, so I watch One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen, but I don’t watch the others and just throw them away.
