Eraser Magic All of Fuwa-chan’s posts causing controversy over “Google Pixel” commercials have been made private．

On August 6, 2024, 13:50, Google Japan made all commercial videos for the smartphone “Google Pixel” featuring YouTuber and talent Fuwa-chan (age undisclosed) private. Fuwa-chan will appear in a commercial for the product from October 2022. The product’s appeal was promoted in several versions, including “Eraser Magic Edition,” “Editing Magic Edition,” and “Easy Switching Edition.” However, on the 4th, Fuwachan posted derogatory comments, quoting a post made by comedian Yasuko on x on the 2nd which said, “Yasuko’s Olympics are great just for being alive, so everyone is a winner.” Although she quickly deleted it, the screenshot was spread and Yasuko wrote, “I feel so sad,” causing a huge uproar online. In response to this, on the 5th, she announced that “due to my inappropriate post yesterday, today’s radio show has been suspended,” and that her appearance on Nippon Broadcasting System’s “Fuwa-chan’s All Night Nippon 0 (zero),” which she was scheduled to appear on late that same night, would be suspended. “I sincerely regret that my post has deeply hurt not only the person in question, but also those who saw it. I am truly sorry,” he apologized. In response to the uproar, Google Japan made all of the commercial videos featuring Fuwa-chan that had been available for viewing until the 5th private. No explanation was given, and the only thing displayed was a caption reading, “Unavailable videos have been hidden.”
