j-cast, inc.2024.08.29 13:45 Popular game commentator Kenichi Ishida, also known as “Super Free-to-play,” revealed on August 29, 2024 that he had requested the disclosure of the poster for the slanderous posts. Ishida reported on x that he had been successful in his request for disclosure, saying, “Come to think of it, I made a request for disclosure of the person who had called me a ’scammer’ last year, and it turned out to be a 58-year-old woman living in a 10-square-meter one-room apartment in Aichi Prefecture.” He also made the complaint public, saying, “I’m posting this because I think a lot of people are curious about how long a disclosure request takes,” and “For now I’ve filed a claim for 5.7 million yen.” According to the complaint that was made public, on September 27, 2011, Ishida filed an application for a provisional injunction to disclose the sender’s information against the administrator of the website where the post was made. Subsequently, a provisional injunction was issued on October 16th, and on the 24th the site administrator disclosed the sender information and the access provider was identified. Subsequently, on November 20th, a lawsuit was filed against the access provider demanding disclosure of the caller’s information. The caller’s information was disclosed on April 4th, 2012, and the other party was identified. The letter stated that a registered letter had been sent to the other party on April 17th demanding compensation for damages, but that no reply had been received. As a result, Ishida is seeking 5.7 million yen in damages for “tort.” In the next post, he explained his opinion, saying, “99% of the people who slander others are either people in the same industry (family members) or poor old people.” Therefore, while he said, “Even if I go to court, he won’t have the ability to pay,” he added, “But just knowing that he has no financial means, both emotionally and financially, made the request for disclosure worthwhile. I’m so satisfied,” he wrote, and called out to anyone who is suffering from slander, “to watch this and feel better.” Ishida’s report read, “I wish people who write things like that would disappear from this world. “Please understand the fear of being sued!” “I hope the number of people who slander others will decrease.”
>>1 The compensation was only 10,000 yen, but they asked for 5.7 million yen lol If they don’t get scared and settle it, I’ll just have to accept it lol
>>7 They may have lived in a high-rise apartment or in a 3-tatami one-room apartment but it just happened to be a 3-tatami one-room apartment To say that living in a small room is a bad thing is discriminatory.
In these cases, if you’re rich or in a position of power you’ll pay money and settle, so the ones who get exposed are definitely those whose lives are ruined.
