On the 4th, a post saying “Live insects were found in Tirol chocolate” was spread on x. In response to this incident, Tirol Chocolate’s official x account contacted the poster via DM to confirm, reporting, “It has been confirmed that the claim that the item was recently purchased was a misunderstanding, and that the item had not been stored properly at home.” It all started when a user opened a light blue package of Tirol Chocolate and posted a video showing live insects moving around inside. In response to this incident, Tirol Choco’s official x account contacted the poster via DM to confirm. “The photo in the post appears to be of a seasonal product that is released every year, but this year’s release is in two weeks, so we suspect it is a product that was released last year or earlier,” he pointed out. They then apologized, saying, “We are very sorry for causing discomfort and anxiety to the poster and everyone else.” Afterwards, Tirol Choco released a statement saying, “Regarding the post on x yesterday about finding insects inside Tirol, we have received apologies from the poster’s family and the person himself. “We have confirmed that the fact that the item was recently purchased was a misconception, and that it had not been stored properly at home.” “We have received apologies from the family and the person in question, so we would ask that you refrain from making comments or making inquiries to the poster,” they said. This guy is a train photographer, so I think the whole nation would be happy with a smile even if the sentence was 10% higher.
The only people who are happy about the existence of train photographers are leftist activists (the person in question is a resident of Japan) who want to destroy Japan’s infrastructure.

For over 30 years, I was unaware that chocolate will develop insects if it is not stored in an airtight container.

The worst are flour and rice. If stored at room temperature, insects will inevitably appear.
5Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:51:31.85ID:9rc7S/wt0
It also appears to be a train photography spot.
6Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:51:50.41ID:hZXsghl+0
A nuisance.
7Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:51:51.87ID:6ScSIICF0
I’m a train photographer.
8Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:51:54.37ID:QDRigNIM0
Too sweet. Should have been thorough. Like the conveyor belt sushi licking guy.

But even if he does say “No, it was a misunderstanding, tehe,” wouldn’t that be a massive blow to Tirol?
It’s not going to be like, “Alright, let’s eat Tirol!” I don’t think…

It doesn’t have to be Tirol, most chocolates will spawn those kinds of bugs if left in a crappy environment.
11Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:53:27.49ID:Ef/V8r0b0
I wish the expiration date would be printed on the individual packaging as well, and not just for this product.
12Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:53:35.87ID:NJbXGOrg0
From Kyoro-chan’s point of view, insects are just food.

If you eat too much chocolate, you’ll get a nosebleed.
14Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:53:46.17ID:JO/drD9D0
People are saying he was impersonating his guardian, so he has zero credibility among train spotters.

I think their name is Tirol Chocolate Co., Ltd., and they’re all about Tirol Chocolate.

I have some unopened strawberry flavored almond chocolate from a year and a half ago at home. I wonder if it has bugs in it too? I didn’t want to eat the last one so I left it for too long.
18Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:54:06.41ID:NQ1aFVRh0
I haven’t had any chocolate lately. Maybe I should buy some Ghana chocolate on the way home. But why Ghana? Maybe it’s because they make chocolate with Ghanaian cocoa beans? No way, haha.
19Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:54:06.50ID:WTH0wEM40
When I first posted about Tirol, I was like, “Oh, it’s a seasonal product and it hasn’t been released yet this year, huh?” and I really felt that I wasn’t going to let it go.
20Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:54:09.84ID:+YdKZo3y0
Is this an attempt to impersonate a train photographer?
21Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:54:31.15ID:/w6BmD1k0
But how can bugs breed in something that’s wrapped in wrapping paper? Can they get in through the gaps and lay eggs?
23Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:54:42.67ID:YmqgzKKX0
Tyrol should sue the train spotters for damages.
24Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:54:45.49ID:DpaH9Qvw0
The rule is that if you apologize in a situation where there is no need to apologise, your evaluation will improve.
25Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:54:46.98ID:2D3lfxRX0
I don’t think that would happen with any other sweets, so I did think that chocolate is scary.
27Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:55:12.75ID:/0u4YYaT0
You did a great job of fending off a malicious, lying complainer.
28Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:55:22.03ID:DpaH9Qvw0
The poster’s train photography debuff is too strong lol.
31Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:56:23.83ID:lfx7VTha0
That’s why I said Tyrol is strong. He’s been beaten before.
32Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:56:50.84ID:jBnFl0eo0
Why are you doing this, you idiot?
33Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:56:57.04ID:Xic9Es5w0
Give them more fear.
35Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:57:32.51ID:S8kbZaVm0
If they don’t punish them, people will continue to copy them. They should have been forced to pay damages.
36Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:57:35.32ID:ZleD86u60
This is a case for damages.
37Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:57:36.47ID:Xic9Es5w0
Train photography is all about borderline status.
38Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:57:44.48ID:egohNmJL0
There’s nothing wrong with Tirol, but does it end up with caterpillars? I’m the kind of person who doesn’t care about expiration dates, so this shocked me.
51Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 17:00:03.33ID:87qGKXot0

If you live in a sterile room, it’s the manufacturer’s fault.
If it’s a caterpillar, as you’d expect, it’s in every household.
It can easily tear through packaging.
39Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:57:48.58ID:hSbqnaRG0
Normally, it would be strange to have dozens of bugs in one chocolate.

The parent insect eats through the wrapping paper.
41Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:58:51.60ID:CrxzyS+y0
Even though I had never even thought about Tirol, let alone chocolate, it occurred to me that I hadn’t eaten any chocolate recently, so I guess the advertising was effective and there was nothing wrong with it.
42Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:58:53.42ID:GlnjFe5l0
At this point in time, I even feel it’s admirable to apologise.
43Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:59:19.62ID:n96/2D6J0
I usually eat 70% cacao chocolate value bags, but I haven’t seen them in stores lately.
44Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 16:59:29.82ID:rvxtjJzI0
No matter how you look at it, it’s strange to be alive.

Apologies on social media and compensation in real life are two separate issues.
52Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 17:00:03.44ID:fQ4KEDuX0
That packaging will tear apart so it’s not good to leave it in an environment with bugs.
53Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 17:00:08.58ID:lNbMW86n0
When you say insects spawn, do they spawn out of nowhere?
65Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 17:02:32.34ID:87qGKXot0
>>53
It’s just an assumption that there’s nothing there.
54Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 17:00:09.80ID:65DBxQPA0
You should keep chocolate in the fridge. I also keep flour and potato starch in the fridge because I don’t want them to get infested with bugs.
72Anonymous Donburako.Nov. 5, 2024 (Tue) 17:03:39.21ID:B+bSyK7Q0
Tirol Choco has a very adult attitude. Maybe it’s because their job is to sell dreams to children.
