12/8 (Sun) 17:50 TBS News Dig Powered by JNN Regarding the future of South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeo, the leader of the ruling party declared that he would “not be involved in national politics, including foreign affairs.” Yesterday, the South Korean National Assembly failed to pass a vote on an impeachment resolution aimed at addressing the unrest that followed President Yoon’s declaration of “emergency martial law,” and the bill was scrapped. Han Dong-hoon, the leader of the ruling party, declared today that “President Yoon will not participate in national politics, including foreign affairs.” The ruling party and the government have stated that they will work together to ensure the president’s early resignation. President Yoon has made progress in improving Japan-South Korea relations, but there is a possibility that they may stagnate in the future. In addition, the prosecution’s special investigation headquarters revealed that it is investigating President Yoon as a target for prosecution on suspicion of civil treason and other charges. This was a complaint filed by the opposition parties and others with the prosecutors’ office. The charge of treason is applied in cases where a riot is started with the intent of disrupting the constitutional order, and carries a maximum penalty of death.
>>1 He must have known that martial law would be lifted with a half-vote in parliament. He wanted to make the current state of brainwashed democracy in Korea clear to the brainwashed masses, even if it was an outrageous act. It’s clear that this is an act of publicity not only for the Korean people but for the whole world. Those in the world know that Japan and Korea are inevitably aware that they are a nation of people who have been brainwashed in their political and economic actions. It’s only natural that you can’t tell from superficial interactions, even with cult religions.
>>4 I wonder. If it were the Japan Broadcasting Corporation, President Yoon would have been sentenced to death. It is truly the most advanced democratic country in the world. Japan should also be able to execute the prime minister at any time. Isn’t that a compliment?
It was a natural outcome after he failed in his attempt to take control of the Diet by force. I wonder if he did it without any intention of being executed lol.
In Korea, even the greatest evils are arrested and tried mercilessly, while in Japan, the people have no choice but to resort to violence against the greatest evils.
Even if a death sentence is handed down, the person will probably be immediately pardoned just for formality, and the sentence will likely be around 10 years.
The ones suspected of treason are the pro-North Korean, far-left groups on the opposition side, and there are a considerable number of North Korean agents on the opposition side.
Korean politics is always like this. It’s like a roller coaster, with too many ups and downs. I think it’s a bit odd that things don’t change as much as they do in Japan, but I still think it’s better than Korea.
