The government is considering requesting the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to suspend construction work on the integrated resort (IR), which will include a casino, next door during the event period. On September 6th, members of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan visited the construction site of the Expo venue in Yumeshima, Osaka. Officials from the Expo Association gave us an explanation about the construction status of the pavilion and disaster prevention measures. They also reportedly confirmed the location of the site relative to the integrated resort, which includes a casino and is under construction next to the Expo site. Tsujimoto does have one criminal record (secretary salary fraud), but since she served her probation period, she didn’t receive any prison time and is essentially innocent. Don’t get that wrong.
