Tokyo LDP political party’s ticket revenue has been “skimmed,” with only half of the income reported. Additional tickets split between the secretariat and members.
Regarding the issue of some of the income from political fundraising parties held by a political group of the Liberal Democratic Party in the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly not being reported in the political fundraising income and expenditure report, interviews with related parties revealed by the 30th that, of the income from the sale of 100 party tickets distributed to the assembly members, only a quota of 50 tickets was paid to the group’s secretariat. There was also a system in place where any tickets sold in excess of 100 were split equally between the secretariat and the assembly members, raising suspicions that there was an organized “skimming” of middlemen, who pooled a portion of the party revenue for themselves. According to sources, the secretariat distributed 100 party tickets (worth 2 million yen) to each assembly member, at 20,000 yen each. Of these, 50 were the quota and the remaining 50 were designated as “reserves,” and the assembly members were required to pay the sales revenue of 1 million yen from the quota to the secretariat. It appears that the secretariat did not ask the assembly members to report how many of the reserve tickets had actually been sold, or to return any unsold tickets. Once 100 copies are sold, additional copies will be distributed if needed. The system was set up so that half of the sales revenue for the additional amount would be paid. The cuts were not listed in the income and expenditure reports of the political organizations or the Tokyo assembly members. There are several assembly members who have not reported more than 1 million yen in total over the past five years, a period during which the statute of limitations for violating the Political Funds Control Act (false entries) has expired, and the total amount due to those assembly members is expected to exceed 10 million yen. According to the political group’s financial reports, the parties were held in December 2019 and May 2022. At the time of submitting the report, the amount of income was 62.46 million yen in 2019 and 61.12 million yen in 2022. A university professor has filed a complaint alleging violation of the law, alleging that some of the party income was not reported, and the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors’ Office Special Investigation Division is investigating the matter, including by questioning those involved. Cutting out the middleman is a wonderful system that treats the people at the bottom of Japan’s major industries as incompetent and makes it possible to suppress wages.
Not just for the LDP, but for all politicians (national assembly members, local assembly members, metropolitan assembly members, etc.), banning parties and abolishing various allowances including salaries. Anyone who fails to report income and expenditures will be immediately imprisoned and their parliamentary privileges will be permanently revoked. Unless we do this, these greedy people will never go away.
Cutting the middle and secret funds A fighting style that combines offense and defense A beautiful Japanese culture: “cutting the middle” and prestigious “secret funds” Japan is a scum country worse than Korea, that’s Japan No, lower Korea The idiots who continue to vote for the LDP despite this are now traitors.
Isn’t it both a violation of the Political Funds Control Law and tax evasion to intentionally not include it in the political income and expenditure report and put it in the pockets of the secretariat and individuals? Surely it’s not a case of an omission to report or anything like that?
It’s hard to imagine that the LDP, Komeito, and Nippon Ishin no Kabushiki Gaisha, who have done all sorts of evil, aren’t also involved in election fraud. There aren’t any LDP supporters around you, either. And the party approval ratings touted by the old media are probably a big lie. How can a country that was under 1% a year ago now be over 10% lol?
>>42 The LDP has completely given up on itself The LDP is no longer a national party It is now perceived as not much different from the Constitutional Democratic Party, so it will be destroyed in the next House of Representatives election.
So? They’ll probably not indict him again. He secretly got the politicians acquitted of illicit funds behind Nakai’s back, so he’ll probably not be indicted again anyway.
