The 100-Article Committee’s survey of prefectural employees regarding allegations of power harassment against Governor Saito has compiled an interim report, collecting responses from approximately 4,500 people. In the interim report, 405 employees, or 8.9%, responded that they had “seen or heard” about the allegations of “recirculation” of funds used to hold the Hanshin and Orix victory parades. In an accusatory document left by a former prefectural official who died in July, it was alleged that financial institutions were asked to donate event funds in return for increased subsidies over the costs of hosting the Hanshin-Orix victory parade in Kobe in November 2023. It was also revealed that the former section chief of the department in charge of the victory parade at the time died in April, and sources said the death was believed to be a suicide. In Hyogo Prefecture, there are several vending machines installed at prefectural high schools and other facilities that play a message from the governor when money is inserted. “thank you for your hard work. I’m Saito Motohiko from Hyogo Prefecture.” “For breakfast tomorrow, should I have rice or bread…?” “If your morning is fun, the rest of the day will surely be fun.” ↑Just let me choose. That’s gross. I feel sorry for the high school students. You really love yourself, don’t you? If you don’t post a photo they get angry and make you know that they were there.
He has a strong will to never quit, so there’s an endless stream of tips (´・ω・`) And generally speaking, they’re all very realistic This guy is a bit odd.
>>16 It’s true that Yuriko has been doing it for 8 years but she hasn’t appeared yet (´・ω・`) I think Hagezoe was there for about a year but he did appear.
Seven allegations are at issue, including Governor Saito’s power harassment of staff members and “begging” for gifts from local governments and companies. What makes the issue even more serious is that the former director who made the accusation died at a relative’s home in Himeji City on July 7th. It is believed to be a suicide. For these reasons, on July 10, the prefectural employee labor union submitted a request for Governor Saito’s resignation. Then on July 12, Vice Governor Yasutaka Katayama announced that he would resign at the end of July. Vice Governor Katayama revealed that he also asked Governor Saito to resign, but was refused. Hyogo Prefecture Governor: “He took home crabs for his staff as well” and “hugged oysters all by himself”…He also stayed at a luxury inn, exceeding travel expense regulations
If we continue on about that topic for too long, the real boss will show up, so I think it will be brushed aside without being brought up as a topic of conversation.
>>34 Hashimoto runs elections that don’t cost money, and politics that don’t cost money. There’s no problem being far from Tokyo and Osaka. But that proved impossible.
When another host became this guy and tried to persuade him by bringing up the law, he got teary-eyed and said “I’m not as smart as you, so I can’t do that kind of thing” and it really made me laugh ^^ He’s so rough ^^.
This guy’s explanations are always so far-fetched that I wonder if he really thinks the people of the prefecture will be satisfied with something like this. He’s a complete failure as a person, let alone as a governor. If they can prove the kickbacks, he’ll be facing prison time, but I wonder if they can gather the evidence.
If he had just resigned sooner, the whole thing would never have come to light, but now it seems he’s not just going to resign, he’s going to be arrested.
